Holiday live diary

First of all, I just got featured! Yabee:) It's just a few seconds:D
I came in awkwardly from 2.50 <3

Sketch Walk @ Marina Bay Boulevard - Urban Sketchers Singapore from Wan Zhong Wei on Vimeo.

It was a super nice experience to sketch at the river side though the sun was pretty friendly that day.

Had an awesome day with J and A as we enjoyed a wonderful meal at Ding Tai Fung at Marina Bay Link mall. First time been there! Afterwards we went for Starbucks at Raffles place. (Y) One of the best days in my holiday so far:D

Blooper of the day: see how strong the wind was when the video was filmed?

The filming person was literally filming at my face and my work, so awkward.. I finally understand why M said to us last time about asking permission. Lols

So here's my work, still coloring..

and I am currently under the recovery stage of being fair again.
Why?
Because of some crazy 3hr cycling from ECP to Changi Airport under the scorching sun and I am completely without any sunblock or whatsoever cox I hate the stickiness.

The result?

I swear I must be totally insane back then.

Anw, some random fun facts about my living environment. I actually have noisy neighbor! They are cute though, they wake you up early in the morning and they shout whenever they want some treat..
Tadah!

Cute yea?

Another random thing I did on April Fool Day.

Kind of the most funny thing I had ever did in my life. Now I know who are the stalkers. (Y)

Before I end off this completely random post about things I can remembered doing after my IP:

Just a recent photo I took after a enjoyable night at Fullerton Hotel :)

Night people!;) Blog post soon, I hope.

Coincidence

Okay so the sad thing is that there's no part two for the Updates post previously, cox obviously I forgot what I want to say as I am that busy. In mind. So if anyone interested, I don't mind to have a little chat with a cup hot coffee that helps me to recall them 8D

So, the first photo was what happened last Saturday, a dramatic one.

My slipper betrayed me, for which it broke, halfway when I'm rushing to meet the urban sketchers for the sketchwalk held at Chinatown.

A hopeless person standing in the middle of Bugis street staring blankly at the slippers for about 5 seconds before asking for help from the shops nearby.

All I get was " Places selling slippers? I think they are not open yet!" "Places selling slippers? Oh sorry I don't know where."

End up I had to called A out to rescue me with the slippers. Lucky me.

While waiting I did a few sketches at Bugis and gathered a large crowd.

0-0 The response from the crowd turns out to be so good that some even ask me to do design works for them. O'well, that's a good opportunity I guess:)

Nonetheless, thanked all for the support, I was just thinking of sketching quietly at a corner..

Had lunch afterwards and happened that J was nearby printing things so get to meet up for awhile.

Weird coincidence that brings the 3 of us together for a non-official sketchwalk gathering.

:)

I shall lie flat now to replenish and have more energy for my 2 module's brainstorming later in the week.

A great holiday with so much thinking process. Hmm...

Anw, Happy CNY to all!:) Hope you guys enjoys it!;)

Nights~

Updates1

I started to realize its a habit that I don't do blogging. Once I started blogging, it means either something damn good happened, or something the opposite.

Now here's an mixed emotions about this post so I shall tackle it one by one.

Starting from the good stuff, since it happened first.

School have been super busy after the 2 weeks break and it explains why there's not a single post after last year 3rd of Dec. What an excuse, I know.

Besides schoolworks, what I consider a major/big/enormous/drastic change from last year is that: I started to take up projects.

I know its nothing much as compare to people who have been doing it all these years but, it's a major kick for this lazy bug.

That I started to take on projects not just once in awhile, but almost schedule them in a very hectic timetable.

The first job taken up was to help design a movie poster, for Iceberg design. Pair work with A. We visited their studio last wednesday and was so much amazed by the lovely working area they have.

What a paradise.

We had so much fun seeing people editing films and changing color settings. Such a great experience to see what goes behind the scene.

Then all the bla bla bla client vs designers details shall be ignored, since it's a case sensitive stuff and I'm too lazy to explain.

All in all, we both agree that this trip down to some ulu place was indeed rewarding and fruitful.

Then on Friday night we had so much carbohydrates

This was just part of it.

O'well, I took like some 6 hours to type this part 1 post because the internet was down for 6 hours. Literally. What an efficient working system.

Shall type the rest another time. :)
